Reader by Sensory Software |
Reader reads aloud text from Windows programs. Each time some text is copied to the clipboard
in a Windows program, Reader will speak it aloud. |
Reader is a simple screen reader. When Reader is running, any text copied to the Windows clipboard
is spoken. This allows you to read text from Internet Explorer, Word, Outlook and most other Windows programs. |
Reader can display the text in large print, highlighting the words that are read to make it easy to
follow. Reader can also display symbols when speaking words. |
|
Word Completion: predicting the end of the word you are writing.
|
Reader supports a large selection of speech engines. You can choose how quickly Reader speaks,
and add a delay between words if that helps. |
|
Next word suggestions: common words that follow the word you typed.
|
If you have a symbol library installed, Reader can display symbols next to the words. Reader is
supplied with indexes for the Widgit Rebus and Mayer-Johnson PCS symbols, and you can easily assign a picture
to a word. |
|
Reader can also read the text from menus and buttons in other Windows programs, providing extra support for those with reading difficulties.
|
Speech Reader is provided with high quality speech, available in many languages. |
