The TalkingAid Wireless is a full-functioning text-to-speech communication aid with a large,
multi-line display and function-keys for rapid access to three phrases per key, word completion options and simplified
setups. The unit has a rugged, moisture resistant case, a field replaceable battery, a built-in removable keyguard, and
features the very effective DECtalk speech synthesizer with 7 voices. It has voice recording as well, and many other
unique features. But most impressive is its built-in cell phone capability for voice calls and text based e-mail in
addition to the ability to communicate face-to-face. |

| General | - The TalkingAid Wireless is a text-to-speech device designed specifically
for cell phone and e-mail use. - Includes Wireless Phone; user needs to get voice and e-mail service from providers. - Uses DECtalk speech synthesis with seven (7) voices. - Has a Normal typing mode (up to 20,000 characters) and a Chat mode (2,000 characters) for writing and handling secondary conversations. - Each character key (63 of them) can have three (3) messages (text or recorded sounds) —that’s 189 messages for rapid recall. - Message Mode for rapid recall of stored phrases with a single key selection. One key press returns device to spelling mode. - Can lock message mode to quickly speak only the first of three messages per key. |
